Mysuru district has seen a notable rise in the II PUC 2025 results, moving up to 12th place in Karnataka with a pass percentage of 74.30%. In recent years, Mysuru stood at 17th in 2024 (83.13%), 13th in 2023 (79.89%), and 17th in 2022 (64.45%). Despite a lower percentage than last year, its state ranking has improved due to a wider dip in state-level averages.

In the Commerce stream, Mysuru students performed exceptionally:

  • Tejaswini M A from Bharathmatha PU College, Koppa (Periyapatna Taluk) secured 2nd rank with 598 marks.

  • G Dhatri from Sadvidya Semi Residential PU College, Vijayanagar achieved 3rd rank with 596 marks.

  • K Harshini from Sri BGS Girls PU College, Kuvempunagar also shared the 3rd rank with 594 marks.

  • Hassan district climbed to 10th position with a 77.56% pass rate, showing an upward trend from 13th in 2024 (85.83%), 7th in 2023 (83.14%), and 13th in 2022 (67.28%). In the Science stream, N J Pranathi from Masters’ PU College, Beeranahalli secured 3rd rank with 597 marks.

    Chamarajanagar improved to 13th place (73.97%), up from 14th in 2024 (84.99%), 12th in 2023 (81.92%), and 18th in 2022 (63.02%).

    Mandya showed strong progress, now 14th (73.27%), up from 24th in 2024 (80.56%), 20th in 2023 (77.47%), and 29th in 2022 (58.77%).

    These rankings reflect rising competitiveness and resilience across southern Karnataka districts.
