Mangaluru: Youth Red Cross, National Service Scheme & IQAC of P. A. First Grade College, Mangalore in association with Red Cross Society Blood Bank, Government Lady Goschen Hospital, Mangaluru organized a Blood Donation Camp on 7 May 2024 in E-Learning Centre at 9:15 AM.
Dr B. Sachidanandan Rai, Chairman, Sub Committee, Indian Red Cross society, DK Branch has invited as the Chief Guest.
 Praveen Kumar, Coordinator and Counselor Indian Red Cross Society, DK, Abbas Uchil, Former Sales and Marketing Manager, Eco Lab, KSA were the Guests of Honour.Presided by Dr Surfraz J Hasim, Principal, PAFGC, witnessed the program.
This was in the presence of Dr Ramis MK, Principal, PACE, Dr Saleemulla Khan, Principal, PACP, Dr Sayyedn Ameen, Dean(Student Affairs) & Director, CMSR as the distinguished guests.
The formal function began with invoking the blessing of Almighty by Irfad from 2nd BCA.
Dr B. Sachidanandan Rai, gave a talk on blood donation and congratulated P.A. First Grade College for the initiative taken. He also encouraged the students to take more participation in such activities and programmes.
Dr Surfraz J Hasim, P.A. First Grade College gave the Presidential Address.
IQAC coordinator, Heads of various Department, teaching and non-teaching staff were present in the programme.
Hamad Basheer, YRC Program Officer, Ithashree, NSS Program Officer, Chaitra N.V, NSS Program Officer were the coordinators of the program.Â
Shafna Sherin from 2nd BCA welcomed the gathering, while Ibrahim Arfan from 2nd BBA proposed a vote of thanks. Salma Aifna from 2nd B.Com compered the program.
Above 165 Donors from PAFGC and its sister institutions voluntarily donated blood.
