The Haryana government has taken strict action following the leakage of an examination paper during the ongoing Haryana School Education Board exams. In a decisive move, 25 police officers, including four DSPs and three SHOs, have been suspended for their involvement in the case.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced that FIRs have been lodged against four government school invigilators, one private school invigilator, and several individuals linked to the malpractice. All four government school invigilators and two centre supervisors have been suspended. Additionally, FIRs have been registered against four outsiders and eight students for their roles in cheating and facilitating the leak.

To prevent further incidents, district authorities have been instructed to enforce a 500-meter restriction zone around examination centres, with accountability placed on local administrations.

Meanwhile, in Palwal, the exam centre supervisor and five policemen were suspended for failing to curb copying. The principal of the school involved is also facing strict action. Authorities continue to conduct surprise checks to maintain the integrity of the exams.
