Mangaluru: The women’s volleyball team of St. Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) secured fourth place in the VTU State Level Volleyball Tournament held at Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management (SCEM), Adyar, on April 27 and 28, 2026.

The team demonstrated strong performance, teamwork, and resilience while competing against top teams from across Karnataka.

Consistent performance under guidance

The team competed under the guidance of Ms. Vaneesha V Rodrigues, Physical Education Director (PED), and Mr. Sudheer M., Assistant PED. Their mentorship and training played a crucial role in preparing the team for the state-level competition.

The players showcased determination and skill throughout the tournament, earning a respectable fourth-place finish.
