Graduates will move forward into different fields, carrying with them the knowledge, skills and experiences gained during their years at SJEC. Some are expected to pursue careers in engineering and technology, while others may choose higher education, research, entrepreneurship or other professional avenues.

The participation of industry leaders and academic experts as Chief Guests and Guests of Honour will provide the graduating students with an opportunity to hear from professionals with experience across business, technology, higher education and product development.

SJEC continues focus on holistic education

St Joseph Engineering College has continued to focus on academic excellence, innovation, professional competence and holistic development. As an autonomous institution, SJEC aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to respond to changing industry requirements and wider societal needs.

The diverse range of programmes represented at the graduation ceremony reflects the changing landscape of engineering and technology education. Alongside traditional engineering disciplines, programmes in artificial intelligence, business systems and data science are preparing students for emerging professional opportunities.

The graduation ceremony therefore provides an opportunity to reflect on both the achievements of the graduating students and the institution’s continuing role in preparing young professionals for the future.
