Puttur: St Philomena College, Puttur, has once again demonstrated its academic excellence by securing four ranks in the Mangalore University undergraduate and postgraduate examinations for the academic year 2023-24. The institution has made a mark with outstanding performances across B.Sc., BCA, M.Sc. Computer Science, and MSW streams.
Undergraduate achievers
In the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) category, Sanmathi S secured the second rank, scoring an impressive 4,042 marks with a 97.4% score. Hailing from Kemmanje, Puttur, she is the daughter of Shanthappa Poojary K and Kasturi P.
In the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) category, Chaitali S attained the fourth rank, securing 4,357 marks (95.76%). She is the daughter of Satish Shetty and Amitha from Ariyadka.
Postgraduate toppers
At the postgraduate level, Lavanya K emerged as the M.Sc. Computer Science topper, securing the first rank with an outstanding 9.42 CGPA. She hails from Sullia and is the daughter of the late Vitthala Sharma K and Shashikala K.
In the Master of Social Work (MSW) program, Arpita secured the third rank with a CGPA of 8.38. She is the daughter of Sitaram and Vasanthi from Kodimbala.
