Puttur: Yashwin, a student of St Philomena College, secured a silver medal in the high jump competition at the state-level athletic championship held in Udupi Ajjarakadu.
His outstanding performance earned him a place in the national-level competition.
The national-level event will be held in Panchkula, Chhattisgarh, where Yashwin (BCOM) will represent the college and State.
Yashwin had previously been selected for the national-level competition during his time at Pre-University College, showcasing his consistent excellence in athletics.
Varsha, a BCA student from St Philomena College, won a bronze medal in the hammer throw competition in the same tournament.
