The Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce, and Management (YIASCM), a constituent college of Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), was honored with four prestigious NSS State Awards by the State NSS Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, Government of Karnataka. The awards were conferred by Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka, Shri Thaawar Chand Gehlot, at a grand ceremony at Raj Bhavan, Bangalore.
Senior officials present at the event included Randeep D. IAS, Secretary, Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports; Shri Chethan R. IPS, Commissioner, Department of Youth Empowerment & Sports; Dr. Prathap Lingaiah, State NSS Officer; and D. Carthigueane, Regional Director, NSS. Representing Yenepoya Institute were Dr. Arun A. Bhagwath, Principal, and Dr. Ashwini Shetty, Programme Coordinator, NSS.

✔ Ms. Dhanyashree D Bhat – Best State NSS Volunteer for her dedication to health and education outreach in underserved areas.
