Electrifying June: Premium EVs and Performance Beasts Set to Roar Into India
While May 2025 witnessed the arrival of popular models like the facelifted Tata Altroz and the Kia Carens Clavis, June promises a premium lineup, especially in the EV space. Tata Harrier EV
Set to debut on June 3, the electric Harrier will carry an estimated price tag of Rs 25 lakh. Showcased earlier at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, this EV version mirrors the ICE Harrier’s design with minor EV-specific tweaks. Inside, expect a 12.3-inch infotainment unit, 10.25-inch driver’s display, JBL speakers, panoramic sunroof, and advanced ADAS tech. It will reportedly have a dual-motor setup offering a 500 km range.
MG Cyberster
Likely to launch in June, the two-door electric roadster will be priced around Rs 80 lakh. Highlights include scissor doors, fighter jet-inspired cockpit with triple screens, heated memory seats, and a 77 kWh battery powering 510 PS and 725 Nm. It’s expected to run 443 km per charge.
MG M9 MPV
Expected to enter via CKD route in June at Rs 70 lakh, the luxury electric MPV offers flexible seating (6/7 seats), a 90 kWh battery with 400+ km range, massage seats, dual sunroofs, and a loaded ADAS suite.
Mercedes-AMG Lineup
The G 63 India Collector’s Edition lands on June 12 with exclusive finishes and the same 4.0L V8 (585 PS/850 Nm), priced at around Rs 3.5 crore.
The GT 63 & GT Pro launch on June 26, featuring updated interiors and up to 612 PS, sprinting to 200 kmph in 10.9 seconds.
