Actor-producer Vishnu Vishal and badminton player Jwala Gutta recently shared a deeply emotional chapter of their lives—how superstar Aamir Khan played a crucial role in helping them become parents and eventually naming their daughter, Mira.

In a candid conversation with Galatta Plus, Vishnu revealed that Jwala had faced years of heartbreak due to failed IVF treatments. At 41, after several unsuccessful cycles, she was on the verge of giving up. That’s when Aamir Khan stepped in.

Upon learning about their struggles, Aamir invited the couple to stay at his Mumbai home and introduced them to a trusted doctor. For nearly 10 months, Jwala lived with Aamir’s family, and Vishnu commuted often. “He treated us like his own,” Vishnu said. “It was because of his constant support and care that Jwala conceived after a few more IVF attempts.”

Honouring Aamir’s pivotal role, the couple asked him to name their baby girl. “If not for him, Mira wouldn’t be here,” Vishnu added, explaining why Jwala was overwhelmed with emotion during the naming ceremony held in Hyderabad earlier this month.

Their bond dates back to 2023, when they were rescued together during a cyclone in Tamil Nadu. Later, Aamir stayed at Vishnu’s home when his mother was battling cancer.

Vishnu announced their daughter’s arrival on April 22—his fourth wedding anniversary—calling her a divine gift and sharing heartfelt family pictures online.
