Bollywood actress Sangeeta Bijlani’s farmhouse in Tikona village near Pune’s Pawna Dam was discovered vandalised and looted during her visit on July 18, after nearly four months away due to her father’s health. Upon arrival with two housemaids, she found the main gate and window grills broken, a television missing, another damaged, and the entire upper floor ransacked.

In her complaint to Pune Rural SP Sandip Singh Gill, Bijlani stated that all beds were broken, various household items destroyed, and the CCTV system either stolen or vandalised. Senior Inspector Dinesh Tayde of Lonavala Police confirmed that a team has been sent to assess the site, and an FIR will be registered once the full damage report is compiled.

Authorities suspect the burglary may have occurred weeks earlier, as the property had been unoccupied. Locals believe the intruders exploited the farmhouse’s remote location. Police are reviewing available CCTV footage for clues, though no arrests have been made yet.
