Renowned actor Radhika Apte found herself in an unexpected situation as she, along with her fellow flight passengers, was confined inside the aerobridge at an airport. Expressing her frustration, she took to Instagram on Saturday to share a video and images capturing the ordeal.

Flight Delay and Unanticipated Lockdown

Radhika revealed that her flight was delayed, leading to an inconvenient situation where the security personnel refused to open the doors, leaving the passengers stranded. The airline staff, according to Radhika, appeared to be clueless about the unfolding situation.

In the shared clip, several passengers were seen behind a locked glass door, and some engaged with the security staff. Radhika and her team were pictured sitting on the floor, while other passengers stood nearby, illustrating the discomfort caused by the unexpected delay and confinement.

Radhika’s Account of the Incident

Radhika narrated the incident, stating, “I had to post this! Today morning I had a flight at 8:30. It’s 10:50 now, and the flight has still not boarded. But the flight said we were boarding and put all the passengers in the aerobridge and locked it! The passengers with small babies, elderly people have been locked in for over an hour. The security won’t open the doors. The staff has absolutely no clue!”

Challenges Faced by Passengers

Radhika highlighted the challenges faced by passengers, indicating that the crew had not boarded, and the uncertainty of their arrival meant an indefinite wait for those locked inside. The lack of amenities such as water and restroom facilities added to the discomfort, with Radhika expressing her frustration with a touch of humor.
