Actor Ajaz Khan has landed in a major controversy after a clip from his reality show House Arrest on the Ullu App went viral, showing him instructing participants to mimic various Kamasutra positions. The video has triggered massive public backlash and political uproar, with many accusing the show of promoting vulgarity under the pretense of entertainment.
On social media, furious netizens are calling for strict legal action against both Ajaz and the show’s producers. “This is a disgrace to our culture. Ban this filth immediately,” one user wrote. Others criticized the Information and Broadcasting Ministry for failing to curb such content on OTT platforms.
Political leaders have also jumped into the debate. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey reshared the controversial video and vowed action, saying, “Yaha nahi chalega. Our committee will act on this.” Meanwhile, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi pointed out that she had earlier flagged Ullu App and Alt Balaji for bypassing bans on obscene material. “Still awaiting a response from the ministry,” she remarked.
The hashtag #BanHouseArrest is now trending across platforms. Despite the growing outrage, neither Ajaz Khan nor the Ullu App has issued an official response. The situation has reignited broader concerns over unregulated OTT content and the urgent need for updated digital content policies in India.
