New Delhi: The highly awaited film Kesari Chapter 2, featuring Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan, and Ananya Panday, has officially hit the big screens today. Ahead of its theatrical release, the filmmakers organized a special screening in Mumbai on Thursday.
Akshay Kumar, accompanied by his wife Twinkle Khanna, attended the event and spoke to the media. He emphasized the importance of the film’s opening sequence, saying, “Do not miss the first 10 minutes—it sets the tone and carries deep significance. This isn’t a film that arrived late; it’s one that has come at the right moment.”
Earlier this week, on April 15, Kesari Chapter 2 held a grand premiere in Delhi, drawing an audience that included key political figures and dignitaries.
At the premiere, Akshay addressed viewers with a heartfelt message: “Please avoid using your phones while watching this film. Every dialogue carries weight. Checking Instagram mid-movie would be a disservice to the story and its message.”
The film explores one of India’s most tragic historical events—the Jallianwala Bagh massacre of April 13, 1919. Akshay Kumar portrays C. Sankaran Nair, a courageous lawyer who boldly challenged the British Empire in court, seeking justice for the lives lost in the brutal attack.
The movie promises a powerful mix of history, emotion, and truth, urging audiences to watch with full attention and respect.
