Star kids often draw attention with their entry into the spotlight—some shine instantly, while others need time to find their footing. Earlier this year, Rasha Thadani, daughter of Raveena Tandon, made a striking debut. In contrast, Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Saif Ali Khan, struggled to leave a lasting impression. Now, Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan, is set to take his first major step into the industry—not as an actor, but as a director.
Aryan’s upcoming web series, The Ba**ds of Bollywood, has already sparked buzz. Celebrity photographer Avinash Gowariker, known for capturing intimate moments of the Khan family, shared an early review in an interview with Bollywood Bubble. He praised Aryan’s work as “impressive” and admired the unique chemistry Aryan shares with his father, calling it far from typical and refreshingly real.
Recalling a shoot for Gauri Khan’s coffee table book, Gowariker highlighted Aryan’s calm confidence and effortless charisma, noting that he stood out even then. Industry figures seem to agree—Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos described the series as “really fun,” while Saif Ali Khan called it “fantastic,” even revealing that his children Sara and Ibrahim make cameo appearances.
Netflix India’s Content VP, Monika Shergill, added that Aryan’s debut promises to be both “emotional and delightful,” hinting at a fresh, engaging narrative from the young director.
