As Chandrayaan-3 creates history, film fam celebrates

India achieved a historic milestone on Wednesday when Chandrayaan-3 successfully completed a soft landing on the Moon’s surface at 6.04 p.m. This accomplishment puts India in the league of former Soviet Republic, the US, and China as pioneers in lunar exploration.

The remarkable achievement sparked celebrations among the film fraternity, who wholeheartedly congratulated the scientists and individuals behind Chandrayaan-3 for their triumph.

Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn expressed his pride and excitement on social media, hailing the moment as historic and proclaiming, “Bharat Mata ki Jai #Chandrayaan”.

Another Bollywood icon, Akshay Kumar, extended gratitude to ISRO with a heartfelt message, writing, “A billion hearts saying THANK YOU ISRO. You’ve made us so proud. India is on the moon, we are over the moon. #Chandrayaan3.”

Actress Shraddha Kapoor shared a video clip from ISRO’s control room on Instagram, encapsulating the significance of the moment with a simple “Waah, what a moment.”

Vijay Deverakonda, eagerly anticipating his film ‘Kushi’, conveyed his joy through a post, emphasizing the happiness and pride reverberating across the nation.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Vijay’s co-star in ‘Kushi’, celebrated the achievement on social media, writing, “Yet again, we land on the Moon! Jai Hind. Congratulations @isro.in #Chandrayaan3.”

Hrithik Roshan expressed his pride on X (formerly Twitter), lauding ISRO’s efforts and congratulating the minds behind Chandrayaan-3, stating, “#IndiaOnTheMoon.”

Tiger Shroff, Bollywood’s action hero, celebrated the mission’s accomplishment with the words, “Mission accomplished…history made. Jai Hind Congratulations @isro.in @isroindiaofficial.”

Actress Rashmika Mandana, who captivated audiences in ‘Pushpa: The Rise,’ celebrated the achievement and praised the collaborative efforts behind the mission.

Taapsee Pannu took to her Instagram Story to join in the jubilation, congratulating ISRO with a triumphant message, “We did it #Chandrayaan3.”
