After months of uncertainty, the beloved Hera Pheri franchise is finally back in motion. Paresh Rawal has confirmed he will reprise his iconic role as Babu Bhaiya in the third installment, putting to rest all speculation about the film’s future.
The veteran actor, who had previously stepped away due to a reported legal dispute with Akshay Kumar, announced that all differences have now been ironed out. In a candid chat on The Himanshu Mehta Show podcast, Paresh emphasized that when a project holds such a special place in audiences’ hearts, it must be approached with extra care and dedication. “You can’t take things for granted,” he noted, underlining the responsibility of delivering something meaningful for fans.
He reassured audiences that there is no lingering tension among the team and that everyone is united in their excitement to bring Hera Pheri 3 to life. “It’s all resolved—nothing has happened,” he said with a smile, dismissing rumors of ongoing conflicts.
Paresh also revealed that while the movie was always planned, it sometimes takes a bit of “fine-tuning” for creative collaborators to align. He credited the long-standing friendships and shared history among Priyadarshan, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and himself for making the project both rewarding and occasionally challenging.
With the original trio officially on board and Priyadarshan reportedly directing, fans can now look forward to a nostalgic, laughter-filled blockbuster.
