Egypt: Earlier while it was reported that Beyonce Knowles was kicked out of the Pyramids in Egypt for being “rude” has hit back at allegations.
The star, who has a 22-month-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, with rapper husband Jay Z, was reportedly told to leave the popular tourist attraction in 2009 by an archaeologist Dr Zahi Hawass, who is known as Egypts Indiana Jones because he was unimpressed with her behaviour.
Situation narrated by Dr Zahi Hawass to a leading newspaper:
Hawass said, “Most people I take on tours are very nice and we become friends. But this lady, she said she would come at 3pm but she came late. I told her you have to say I am sorry I am late. But she did not open her mouth.”
“I brought a photographer and she also had a photographer and a guard. When my photographer started to shoot, she said No Stop! I am the one who says yes or no, not you. I said, In that case since you almost hit my photographer and you are not polite out I am not giving you the privilege of having you on my tour. I said Beyonce was stupid and I left”, he added.
Beyonces representatives deny claims the megastars tour of the pyramids in Egypt was cut short due to her rude behavior he said, “The claims made by Hawass is completely false and the incident was fabricated. The last time she was in Egypt was on tour in 2009. Nothing like this happened. Lies and more lies.”
