In Singham 3, also known as Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty, Deepika Padukone will play Shakiti Shetty. The soon-to-be mother Deepika was introduced as “Lady Singham” by Rohit on Friday when he shared a fresh still from Singham Again. The actor was called the director’s “hero.”
Rohit took to Instagram and shared a motion poster of Deepika in a cop avatar from Singham Again. Deepika was seen striking Ajay Devgn’s iconic Singham pose. Sharing the poster, Rohit wrote, “MY HERO… REEL MEIN BHI AUR REAL MEIN BHI (In reel and in real) LADY SINGHAM!!! @deepikapadukone.”

As soon as the post was uploaded, fans chimed in to react to it in the comments section. One wrote, “Omg (oh my God) Deepika looks so fab… ekdum mast (Absolutely amazing).”Another commented, “Lady Singham!!!” Deepika herself commented on Rohit’s Instagram post, writing, “Let’s do this!” A fan also wrote about the upcoming film, “This might actually be the biggest blockbuster.”
The first image of Deepika as female police officer Shakti Shetty was released last year. Deepika made her first appearance in a police uniform in the poster. She can be seen holding a man who appears to be holding a gun in his mouth while sitting in front of what appears to be a burning car. The actor can be seen smiling and holding a gun in the second picture. Her hand is bandaged.
Alongside Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Ranveer Singh, Singham Again is directed by Rohit Shetty. The third movie in the popular series, Singham Again, is scheduled to open in theaters on July 4, 2024, the day of Independence. The 2011 film Singham, starring Ajay, Prakash Raj, and Kajal Aggarwal, was followed by Singham Returns in 2014.
