Mumbai – Veteran actress and Member of Parliament Hema Malini has sold two luxury apartments in Oberoi Springs, Oshiwara, for a combined value of ₹12.50 crore, according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards. Both transactions were registered in August 2025.
Each apartment, measuring 847 sq ft carpet area (approx. 79 sq m) and 1,017 sq ft built-up area (approx. 94.46 sq m), was sold for ₹6.25 crore. The deals included one car parking space per unit.
Stamp duty and charges
As per the documents from the Inspector General of Registration (IGR), each transaction incurred a stamp duty of ₹31.25 lakh along with registration charges of ₹30,000.
Prime property market in Oshiwara
Oshiwara, located in Andheri West, is one of Mumbai’s most vibrant residential and lifestyle hubs, with excellent connectivity via the Western Express Highway, suburban rail network, and the Versova-Ghatkopar Metro corridor. The area is home to luxury high-rises, upscale housing societies, and an active entertainment circuit, making it a sought-after market for premium real estate investments.
Hema Malini’s illustrious career
Known as Bollywood’s ‘Dream Girl’, Hema Malini made her film debut in 1963 and rose to fame with Sapno Ka Saudagar (1968). She became one of the most successful actresses of the 1970s and 1980s, starring in several iconic films.
Apart from her acting career, Hema Malini is an accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer, a film director, and an active politician, currently serving as a Member of Parliament from Mathura.
