Recently, Gauri Khan shared a captivating video offering a sneak peek into the opulent interiors of her Asian-themed eatery. Serving as the creative force behind the fine dining establishment, Gauri has spared no effort in ensuring a remarkable experience for patrons.
The restaurant greets visitors with a striking bar area adorned with red and golden décor, complemented by atmospheric lighting. Featuring red and green tabletops, lustrous low ceilings with intriguing light fixtures, and expansive glass doors and windows, Gauri Khan’s restaurant exudes a sense of glamour at every turn. The vibrant hues of red and soothing greens dominate the space, from the walls to various plant sizes, with touches of gold elevating the luxury quotient.
Gauri elaborated on the restaurant’s concept in a video shared on Instagram, stating, “I am delighted to introduce you to my inaugural venture in hospitality. Torii, meaning the gateway to a temple, holds a deeper significance for us. Every aspect of this space has been carefully curated to evoke a warm and luxurious ambiance. The signature colors of gold, red, and green are prominently featured, creating an inviting yet upscale atmosphere.”

In a recent interview with Vogue India, Gauri discussed her experiences as a first-time restaurateur, expressing enthusiasm for the journey ahead. She remarked, “We’re just beginning, and there are still many lessons to be learned. I’m eager to see what this journey has in store for all involved, and I’m thrilled to embark on this venture alongside my friends and co-partners, Tanaaz Bhatia and Abhayraj Kohli.”
When asked about her favorite dishes on Torii’s menu, Gauri highlighted the sushi selection, particularly the Dirty Torii, along with standout items like black cod, green Thai curry, chicken sliders, and indulgent desserts such as tres leches and churros.
