Steph Bohrer, an American influencer who gained attention for sharing a viral video of a sweet note from a pilot, has now issued an apology for the post, admitting she never expected the situation to spiral the way it did.

In the viral video, Bohrer showed a napkin with a handwritten message: “I have seen the whole world, and you are the most beautiful woman in it.” She claimed a pilot had discreetly placed the note on her table and then walked away. “I’m sitting at the airport, and a pilot just placed this on my table and walked away,” Bohrer captioned the video.

The video quickly went viral, triggering a wave of reactions across the internet. Some people found the gesture charming, while others expressed doubt or suspicion about the authenticity of the interaction.

In a follow-up video, Bohrer explained that the pilot was not the one operating her flight and that she barely caught a glimpse of him. She clarified, “A friend described him as short and blond. I didn’t even see his face.” Bohrer admitted that she posted the moment simply because she thought it was sweet but acknowledged that the situation blew up unexpectedly. “I don’t think he wanted this to be on the news, and I’m really sorry. It was just a compliment.”

While some accused Bohrer of fabricating the note for attention, she vehemently denied the claim, saying, “I did not write this. I promise. He was just a kind gentleman, and that’s all I have to say.” She further assured that she had no additional information about the pilot, stressing that she was happy to let the encounter remain a pleasant, anonymous gesture.
