Ahead of Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani’s wedding, Janhvi Kapoor and the close friends of the bride-to-be organized a special event to celebrate. The gathering was described by the actress as a “Princess Diaries royal slumber party.”
Janhvi recently shared some exclusive moments from the occasion on her Instagram. The first snapshot depicts eight girls dressed in pink surrounding the bride-to-be, who looked stunning in her white satin nightwear adorned with feather details.

In the following picture, Radhika, donning a crown, appeared pleasantly surprised by the arrangements made by her friends for the bridal shower. Another image captured the groom-to-be, Anant Ambani, joining his friends, dressed in blue satin nightwear. Janhvi herself was captured in a candid moment, seated cross-legged on a sofa.
Captioning her post, Janhvi wrote, “A Princess Diaries Royal slumber party (hearts emojis) for the most special bride.” Comments poured in, including one from Janhvi’s brother, actor Arjun Kapoor, who left a fire emoji, and her friend and celebrity influencer Orhan Awatramani, aka Orry, who posted red heart emojis.
Previously, Janhvi had attended the lavish pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The extravagant celebrations spanned three days in Jamnagar from March 1 to March 3.
The event saw the attendance of celebrities and notable figures from around the globe. Among the guests were Bollywood icons like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Akshay Kumar, as well as renowned sports personalities such as MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, and Sachin Tendulkar.
Switching gears, Janhvi is gearing up for her upcoming projects. She will star in “Mr and Mrs Mahi,” a cricket drama alongside Rajkummar Rao, set to release on May 31. Additionally, she will reunite with her “Bawaal” co-star Varun Dhawan for Shashank Khaitan’s romantic comedy “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari,” produced by Karan Johar. Furthermore, she will feature in the pan-India film “Devara,” which also stars Saif Ali Khan and NTR Jr. in lead roles.
