“Not Love, It was Lust”, Khushbu Reveals Sexual Harassment by Her Father

Actor, member of the National Commission for Women, Khushbu Sundar, has opened up about one of the bitterest experiences she has faced in her life.

The star, who has acted in more than 200 films, including Kannada, Tamil, Malyalam, Telugu, and Hindi, has revealed that she faced sexual harassment when she was just an eight-year-old kid from her father.

Khushbu, who is celebrating her birthday today, shared the shocking incident while she was speaking on women’s issues. The actor was appointed a member of the National Commission for Women last year.

She said that most fathers love their children, but her father had lust for her. Whatever the bitter incidents happen, be it on boy or girl in the childhood days, they will remain in the memory forever. ‘

She said her father used to beat her and her mother. He used to engage in sexual harassment, and he thought it was his right.

Khushbu shared that she faced harassment when she was just eight years old, and later she started realizing that it was wrong. When she turned 15, she started speaking against her father.

Khushbu shed light on the financial condition she faced when she was a child. She also said that the harassment issue was brought to her mother’s attention, but she did not believe it, and later she opposed it, she claimed. ‘

The actor plunged into politics by joining DMK in 2010; later, she joined the Congress and switched her aligns to the BJP in 2020.
