Lisa Ray steps into motherhood as she embraces her newborn twins Sufi and Soleil who were born through surrogacy on September 17.
She has made it clear in her post on Instagram that she and her husband Jason Dehni wanted to share this private information so that the childless do not get demotivated and understand that there are several ways of becoming parents.
She has wholeheartedly thanked all her well-wishers. She says, “Every new phase of life challenges my openness and the ability to adapt with each new experience. Luminous souls Sufi and Soleil are expanding us in ways we never thought possible…and catching me by surprise as I grow into motherhood.”
Both the daughters’ names carry an inner meaning. Sufi refers to “Mystic”, and Soleil refers to a French word which means “Sun.”
