Mahesh Babu calls film a complete experience
Mahesh Babu praised the way Don’t Trouble The Trouble balances fantasy, humour and emotion.
Describing the film as a “beautifully complete experience”, the actor highlighted its ability to remain entertaining while also delivering an emotional narrative.
According to Mahesh Babu, the film manages to be “thoroughly entertaining and deeply moving at the same time”.
He also praised the warmth of the story and its appeal to family audiences. His comments suggest that the film is designed to work beyond a conventional fantasy setup, with its emotional core playing an important role in the narrative.
Mahesh Babu particularly singled out Fahadh Faasil, describing him as a “stupendous actor”.
The Telugu star said watching Faasil “evolve, experiment and reinvent” himself has been inspiring.
Jr NTR calls Fahadh Faasil’s performance ‘phenomenal’
Jr NTR also praised the film after watching an early preview, with particular attention to Faasil’s performance as Suri.
Calling the performance “phenomenal”, Jr NTR said the film has an appeal that extends across generations.
He described the story as something meant for “every child, every parent and everyone who still carries a little bit of that child within them”.
Jr NTR also praised the film’s emotional progression, pointing to the movement from the police station sequence to the climax.
He described that progression as an emotional rollercoaster and credited the filmmakers with handling family emotions effectively.
For Yeleti, who is making his directorial debut with the film, the praise from established Telugu stars comes ahead of the movie’s theatrical opening.
Fahadh Faasil and Ssara Palekar praised
Both Mahesh Babu and Jr NTR highlighted the screen dynamic between Fahadh Faasil and young actor Ssara Palekar.
Mahesh Babu said the performances make the characters appear as though they are “living, breathing and feeling every moment”.
Jr NTR also praised Ssara, saying the young actor brings an innocence that remains with viewers after the film ends.
The interaction between Faasil and Ssara is expected to be an important emotional component of the film.
Faasil plays Suri, while Ssara is part of the film’s central cast. Their relationship provides a key element of the story as the fantasy drama moves through its emotional and dramatic turns.
Jr NTR praises debut director Shashank Yeleti
Jr NTR also congratulated Shashank Yeleti on making his directorial debut with a family-oriented story.
The actor noted that handling pure family emotions in a debut film is not a small task.
He specifically referred to the film’s progression from the police station scene to the climax, saying the narrative takes audiences through a range of emotions.
Yeleti has previously been associated with Telugu cinema as a writer and filmmaker, and Don’t Trouble The Trouble marks his directorial debut in this format.
The film’s fantasy elements are combined with family emotions, giving the story a broader audience focus.
Kaala Bhairava’s music receives praise
Composer Kaala Bhairava also received praise from Jr NTR.
The actor credited the background score with strengthening the dramatic impact of the film and helping elevate its emotional moments.
Background music plays a significant role in the film’s transition between lighter fantasy elements and more emotional sequences.
Jr NTR’s comments specifically highlighted the score’s contribution to the overall viewing experience, while Mahesh Babu also extended his compliments to the creative team behind the project.
SS Rajamouli presents the film
Don’t Trouble The Trouble is presented by filmmaker SS Rajamouli and produced by SS Karthikeya, Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni.
The film is being produced under the Showing Business and Arka Media Works banners.
The project brings together a cast and crew with experience across Telugu and Malayalam cinema, with Fahadh Faasil at the centre of the story.
Faasil has previously appeared in Telugu cinema as an antagonist in Sukumar’s Pushpa franchise. Don’t Trouble The Trouble marks his debut as a lead actor in a Telugu film.
His performance in Pushpa had already introduced him to a wider Telugu-speaking audience, and the new film gives him a different role in a fantasy-driven family story.
Film set for October 2 release
Directed by Shashank Yeleti, Don’t Trouble The Trouble stars Fahadh Faasil, Ssara Palekar and Saurabh Sachdeva.
The film is scheduled for theatrical release on October 2.
The pre-release praise from Mahesh Babu and Jr NTR has added attention to the film ahead of its arrival in cinemas. Both actors have encouraged audiences to experience the movie on the big screen.
Their comments have particularly focused on the film’s family appeal, emotional storytelling and performances rather than only its fantasy elements.
For Fahadh Faasil, the release also represents an important step in his Telugu career as he moves from a supporting antagonist role in the Pushpa films to leading a Telugu-language project.
With its combination of fantasy, family emotions and a child-focused narrative, Don’t Trouble The Trouble is positioned as a film aimed at audiences across generations. The response from Mahesh Babu and Jr NTR has further highlighted the performances of Faasil and Ssara Palekar and the work of Yeleti and composer Kaala Bhairava.
The film will reach theatres on October 2, giving audiences the opportunity to judge the fantasy drama for themselves.
