Malavika Mohanan Gears Up for Blockbuster Telugu Debut in ‘The Raja Saab’

After captivating Tamil and Hindi audiences, actress Malavika Mohanan is all set to make a power-packed entry into Telugu cinema with the upcoming film ‘The Raja Saab’. Sharing screen space with Pan-India star Prabhas, the film promises a mix of horror, comedy, and romance, helmed by director Maruthi and produced by People Media Factory. The pan-India release is slated for December 5, 2025.

Having earned accolades for her roles in ‘Master’, ‘Petta’, and ‘Beyond The Clouds’, Malavika is hopeful of striking the right chord with Telugu viewers. In recent interviews, she shared that the role in The Raja Saab felt emotionally rich and fulfilling, emphasizing that her character is not only integral to the plot but also explores a range of emotions.

“I’ve always been drawn to the grandeur and narrative strength of Telugu cinema,” said Malavika, who considers this project a perfect blend of script, co-star, and character depth. She also praised Prabhas, calling him “an absolute joy to work with” and fondly recalled how he treated her team to homemade biryani on day one.

The film’s teaser, launched earlier this week, created major buzz online, with fans and critics lauding the visual chemistry between Prabhas and Malavika. Her charming presence and Prabhas’s signature charisma add flair to a storyline full of thrills and laughs.

With a star-studded cast including Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, and Anupam Kher, and music by S Thaman, this festive release aims to be a blockbuster crowd-pleaser.
