The picture, shared by photographer-director Shani Shaki, was captioned “Kathatte (Let it be a fire)”—and it certainly was. Fans flooded the post with love and admiration. One fan wrote, “Malayalam cinema is waiting for his return..!!” Another chimed in with the iconic line, “Ariyallo..Mammukka aanu (You know.. it’s Mammukka).”
This viral moment comes amid recent rumors about Mammootty’s health, which sparked concern among fans. Speculations were fueled by reports claiming he was battling cancer. However, his team quickly dismissed these as baseless, confirming that the actor is in good health.
Further fuelling the buzz was a prayer receipt from Sabarimala in the name of “Muhammad Kutty” (Mammootty’s real name), allegedly offered by his close friend and fellow superstar Mohanlal.
