Hollywood actor Michael B Jordan is generating major buzz with his upcoming horror film Sinners, directed by Ryan Coogler and releasing on April 18. The chilling story follows twin brothers returning to their hometown only to be haunted by an ominous presence. Jordan, who plays both siblings, has earned high praise for his performance, with critics calling it one of his finest portrayals yet.
Set in 1930s Clarksdale, Mississippi, Sinners explores deep-rooted fears against a war-torn backdrop. The ensemble cast includes Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, Jayme Lawson, Li Jun Li, and Miles Caton, with Warner Bros. backing the film. This marks Jordan’s fifth collaboration with Coogler after hits like Creed and Black Panther.
In a recent interview with Zoom, Jordan revealed his admiration for Indian cinema. Sharing a fond memory from an Oscars after-party—likely in 2023 when RRR‘s Naatu Naatu made history—he mentioned meeting Jr NTR and bonding over basketball. “I see Jr NTR often. He loves sports,” he said. Jordan also briefly spoke about meeting Priyanka Chopra but kept the exchange private.
When asked about acting in Bollywood, Jordan responded enthusiastically: “Definitely, I would love that. Would be great to do a Bollywood movie.”
With Sinners already winning early acclaim and Jordan hinting at a Bollywood crossover, fans can expect thrilling projects both on home turf and possibly, in India.
