Mumbai: Actress Mrunal Thakur will be spending her 31st birthday on Tuesday with a busy working day on the sets of her upcoming Telugu movie ‘VD13’ alongside Vijay Deverakonda. Due to her current shooting commitments in Hyderabad, she won’t be able to celebrate with friends and family. However, she is excited to mark the occasion with the cast and crew of ‘VD13’, considering them as her second family during the shoot.
Mrunal shared that she usually keeps her birthdays low-key and values spending such special days with her loved ones. Nevertheless, she is looking forward to celebrating with the talented team of ‘VD13’ whom she has recently started working with.
Hyderabad has become like a second home for her since she shot extensively for her previous projects ‘Sita Ramam’ and ‘Hi Nanna’. She plans to have a small and intimate celebration with her family once she completes the initial schedule of ‘VD13’.
In addition to ‘VD13’, Mrunal is also working on ‘Hi Nanna’, where she stars alongside Telugu superstar Nani in an emotional drama centred around a father-daughter relationship.
The movie ‘VD13’ marks the reunion of Vijay Deverakonda and director Parasuram after their previous hit film ‘Geetha Govindam’.
Besides her Telugu projects, Mrunal will be seen in the period drama ‘Pippa’, featuring Ishaan Khatter, Priyanshu Painyuli, and Soni Razdan, which is scheduled for release soon.
Mrunal’s acting journey began with the television soap opera ‘Mujhse Kuchh Kehti…Yeh Khamoshiyaan’ (2012) and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ (2014-2016). Her Hindi film debut came with ‘Love Sonia’ (2018), and she gained recognition for her roles in the biographical films ‘Super 30’ and ‘Batla House’ in 2019. However, it was her Telugu film ‘Sita Ramam’ that brought her into the spotlight.
