The upcoming film Mango Pachcha, featuring Sanchith Sanjeev and Kaajal Kunder, is swiftly moving through its production phase in the historic city of Mysuru. Set in the early 2000s, the film is being helmed by first-time director Viveka, and much of the shoot is taking place amid Mysuru’s old-world charm, with scenes captured on its spacious roads and vintage architecture.

Actor Sanchith Sanjeev revealed that while his initial familiarity with Mysuru was limited to the well-known landmarks, spending nearly 40 days on location has helped him uncover lesser-known, picturesque sites. “The broad roads and artistic buildings, many of which carry names bestowed by the Maharajas, are stunning. The city’s peaceful pace and minimal traffic have made shooting a stress-free experience,” he said.

Director Viveka shared his appreciation for Mysuru’s ambiance, describing it as the ideal canvas for a film set in a past era. “The serene environment here boosts creativity and complements the narrative tone I envisioned. Almost the entire film is being shot here because the city so seamlessly matches our story’s mood,” he added.

The team is also filming at several hidden, untouched spots, which the director believes will offer a refreshing visual treat to viewers when the movie releases.

With its cultural richness and timeless setting, Mysuru is breathing life into Mango Pachcha in ways that promise to charm audiences across generations.
