Udyavar: The seventh edition of Nirantar Natakotsav 2025 is set to begin on February 20, bringing four days of compelling drama performances. Organized annually by Nirantar Udyavar, the festival has seen resounding success year after year.

Held at Government PU College Grounds, Bolargudde, Udyavar, the festival will feature Kannada, Tulu, and Konkani plays.

  • Feb 20: Bettalata (Kannada) – Directed by Rohit S Baikady, translated by Prakash Garuda, and performed by Mandara Cultural Service Organization.
  • Feb 21: Eedi (Tulu) – Written by Latesh Poojary, directed by Viddu Ucchil, designed by H.K. Dwaraknath, and produced by Sameer Penkar under Sumanasa Kodavoor.
  • Feb 22: Hang On (Kannada) – Presented by St Aloysius University, directed by Clanwin Fernandes.
  • Feb 23: Payn (Konkani) – Adapted from Dr. Alwyn Serrao’s book, directed by Sweedal Dsouza, in collaboration with Astitva, Mangaluru.

Entry is free for all performances.
