New Delhi – The long-standing speculation about a possible ego clash between Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh has finally been addressed. Filmmaker Karan Johar, known for his close association with both actors, has firmly denied any feud, calling such talk “outdated.”

In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Karan shared, “There’s no ego at all. These assumptions are rooted in an old-school mindset. We’re all friends before anything else.” He went on to describe how both actors have supported each other’s work, “I remember Ranveer dropping by my house after watching Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and sharing his thoughts. Ranbir too gave me feedback on Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. We talk about films, personal lives—there’s genuine camaraderie.”

Karan emphasized that today’s actors are more secure and collaborative, unlike earlier times when rivalry headlines were the norm.

🔜 Upcoming Blockbusters

Both actors have packed slates of high-profile projects.

🎬 Ranbir Kapoor is currently filming Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. He will also appear in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana with Sai Pallavi and Yash, one of the most anticipated films of 2025.

🎬 Ranveer Singh, meanwhile, is working on Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar and gearing up for Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3—a fresh take on the legendary franchise.

It’s clear that instead of competing, these two powerhouse performers are thriving—and cheering each other on.
