In the early hours of May 7, the Indian Armed Forces launched Operation Sindoor, a series of 24 precision missile strikes across Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, targeting nine terrorist camps, including those of Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed. The strikes were a direct response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed the lives of 26 civilians. Over 70 terrorists were reportedly killed, and more than 60 were injured during the operation.
