Hyderabad: PAN India star Prabhas has teamed up with Sita Ramam director Hanu Raghavapudi for an upcoming action drama set in the pre-Independence era. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film is currently in production, with social media sensation Imanvi cast as the female lead.
Film title revealed accidentally
While the official announcement of the title is yet to be made, actor-director Pradeep Ranganathan inadvertently revealed it as “Fauji” during promotional events for his upcoming film Dude, which is also produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
Speaking at an event in Chennai, Ranganathan said, “I don’t know if I can say this or not, but my producers have shown me a few clippings of Prabhas sir’s Fauji. Naveen sir and Ravi sir are among the passionate producers I have ever seen. It will come out, and you will all witness it. What I have seen is extraordinary. Did I make a mistake by revealing? (laughs).”
