As we all know Puneeth Rajkuamr starrer “Raajakumara” is an industry hit. The film is still running successfully at the box office after completing 75 days. There has been various offers for the remake rights of the film, especially in Telugu. However the makers of the film do not want to sell the rights. Instead they are planning to make the film themselves in Telugu.
Hombale Films are planning to debut in Telugu industry through this film. Director Santhosh Ananddram, who directed the Kannada version, will also be helming the Telugu version. By this, he will mark his debut in Tollywood. In all probability, a top star of Tollywood will play the lead role.
The film is high on emotions and entertainment quotient, which is the main revenue collector for Telugu films. With little bit changes being done to suit the Telugu film goers’ taste, the film can surely do wonders in Tollywood industry.
Meanwhile, “Raajakumara” is heading for a successful 100-day run, breaking all previous records in Sandalwood. The film stands at number one position in multiplexes, with 7,577 shows in 87 days.
