After allegations surfaced that Rashmika Mandanna neglected Kannada and skipped a film festival in Bengaluru, a source close to the actor has dismissed them as baseless.
“The speculations about Rashmika refusing to attend the Bengaluru film festival are completely untrue,” the source stated. “There is no truth to claims that she was approached and declined the invitation.”
However, Congress MLA Ravi Ganiga criticized the actor, claiming she disregarded Karnataka and the Kannada film industry despite starting her career with Kirik Party. He alleged that Mandanna was invited multiple times but refused, citing lack of time.
