Popular content creator Apoorva Mukhija, better known online as Rebel Kid, is making headlines again—but this time, not for her viral videos.

Her ex-boyfriend, Utsav Dahiya, an investment banker turned creator, recently stirred controversy with a cryptic song titled “Cute Little Red Flag”, hinting at a messy end to their relationship.

Although he didn’t name her directly, Utsav’s post accused Apoorva of misusing their private relationship for content creation. He alleged that she twisted the narrative, portraying him as a “cheater” and “abuser” to generate online sympathy and boost engagement.

He wrote that false claims and edited portrayals painted him in a bad light, saying, “Follower count doesn’t give anyone the right to destroy another’s reputation. Stop creating pity-driven content at someone else’s expense.”

According to Utsav, attempts to address things privately were met with arrogance. He recalled being told, “You’re irrelevant—feel lucky you dated her,” implying that his lesser-known public presence was used against him.

Despite the backlash, Utsav maintained a dignified tone, ending his statement with, “I’m still here. Truth doesn’t need millions of followers to be valid.”

Adding to the controversy, Apoorva also fell out with former friend and fellow influencer Sufi Motiwala, who shared publicly that they’re no longer in touch, citing immaturity and lack of emotional presence as reasons.
