Shimla: Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, sister of actor Ranbir Kapoor, has officially confirmed that she is working on her first Hindi film, currently being shot in the scenic town of Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. While the specifics of the project remain undisclosed, behind-the-scenes images from the set have surfaced online, sparking curiosity.

In one such photo shared by actress Manju Walia on Instagram, Riddhima is seen alongside two young actors. The caption expressed joy at meeting her, stating, “My nephew is filming with these wonderful souls, especially Riddhima. We’re thrilled and eagerly waiting for the film’s release once shooting ends.”

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Riddhima said, “Yes, I’m currently filming in the mountains. For now, all I can share is that the shoot continues till June.”

There are hints that the project might also involve her mother, Neetu Kapoor, and popular comedian Kapil Sharma, although no official confirmation has been made regarding their roles.

Riddhima, who has long stayed away from the silver screen in favor of fashion and entrepreneurship, appears excited and determined about her debut. Sources suggest that she has been receiving strong backing from her family, especially during script readings and rehearsals with her mother.

As anticipation builds, fans and Bollywood watchers await more details about Riddhima’s film debut — one that marks a new chapter for the Kapoor legacy in Hindi cinema.
