Rishab Shetty, renowned for his groundbreaking role in Kantara, recently expressed his admiration for filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga during a candid conversation on The Rana Daggubati Show. Joined by host Rana Daggubati and actress Neha Shetty, the trio engaged in an open and lively discussion.

Rishab revealed his eagerness to collaborate with Vanga, praising the filmmaker’s unique vision despite the controversies surrounding his work. “It’s crazy, nobody can think like him, and I think even he can’t think the same way again,” Rishab remarked, expressing his readiness to be part of Vanga’s future projects.

During the conversation, Rana delved into Rishab’s filmmaking journey and visited his hometown of Keradi, where the actor shared his dream of transforming the village into a cinematic hub. Rishab detailed how his passion for his roots led to the creation of Kantara.

“I’ve always dreamt of shooting in my village and its forests. Despite scouting Keradi for various projects, nothing materialized until Kantara. Over 700 villagers contributed to the film, making it a collective effort. That’s why I lovingly call my home ‘KFC’ — Keradi Film City,” Rishab explained.

He highlighted how Kantara resonated with the local community, making them see themselves on screen. “This region isn’t huge on films, but Kantara changed that. It brought relatability and overwhelming love from the people,” Rishab added.
