Mohit Suri’s romantic drama Saiyaara continues its impressive box office streak, showing steady performance into its third week. On Day 19 (Tuesday, August 5), the film garnered ₹2.50 crore domestically, pushing its total Indian earnings to ₹304.60 crore.

Momentum Holds Amid Dip

Although collections began tapering off last week, Saiyaara maintained momentum and joined the elite ₹300 crore club on August 4. Despite the dip, the film’s early dominance remains notable.

In its debut week, Saiyaara stormed the box office with ₹172.75 crore, breaking multiple records. The film followed up with another ₹100 crore-plus in its second week, cementing its blockbuster status.

Now, it stands as the second-highest grosser of the year, trailing just behind Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava. It also claimed one of the strongest opening weekends of 2025.

Competition Rises

While Saiyaara continues drawing crowds, it faces intense rivalry. Mythological drama Mahavtar Narsimha collected ₹8 crore on Monday. Ajay Devgn’s Son of Sardaar 2 and Karan Johar’s Dhadak 2 have also made notable entries. Yet, Saiyaara maintains a solid grip on ticket counters.

Story & Cast

Backed by Yash Raj Films, Saiyaara explores themes of love and emotional turmoil. The film introduces Ahaan Pandey as Krish Kapoor, a struggling singer, and Aneet Padda as Vaani Batra, a young author battling early-onset Alzheimer’s.

Summary

Even after nearly three weeks, Mohit Suri’s emotional musical continues to shine, now eyeing further milestones at both domestic and international levels.
