Samantha Ruth Prabhu continues to grab headlines, but this time, it’s not for her acting or fitness routine. Following her split from Naga Chaitanya in 2021, buzz surrounding their divorce refuses to die down. According to recent reports, Samantha turned down a massive alimony offer of ₹200 crore from her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya. These rumors come at a time when Dhanashree Verma reportedly received a ₹4.7 crore alimony from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, further fueling discussions.
Despite the whispers surrounding her financial settlement, Samantha’s separation from Naga Chaitanya was reportedly amicable and respectful. The two had married in 2017, but their marriage came to an end four years later. Samantha, known for her fierce independence, chose not to accept any monetary assistance from her ex-husband, prioritizing her financial autonomy.
Instead of relying on alimony, Samantha threw herself back into her career, even overcoming health struggles like Myositis. She signed major projects, including The Family Man 2 and Citadel Honey Bunny, and ventured into production with her company, Tralala Moving Pictures. Her debut production, Subham, marks a significant step in her career.
While Naga Chaitanya has moved on with actress Sobhita Dhulipala, having married her in December 2024, rumors about Samantha’s alleged relationship with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru continue to make rounds.
