The romantic musical drama Sanam Teri Kasam, starring Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane, is enjoying a successful re-release in theatres since February 7, 2025. With Valentine’s Day around the corner, audiences are flocking to cinemas to relive this emotional tale. The film has performed remarkably well, even surpassing its initial release numbers from 2016.
On Day 4, the film raked in Rs 3 to 3.25 crore, as per Sacnilk. The total collection after just four days has crossed Rs 18.50 crore, which is already more than the entire lifetime collection of the movie during its first release. For comparison, Sanam Teri Kasam earned only Rs 1.4 crore on its fourth day in 2016, less than half of its re-release earnings.
The film, which was made on a budget of Rs 25 crore, continues to attract viewers with its tragic love story, centered around a girl disowned by her family who finds solace in the arms of her neighbor, only for fate to take a cruel turn.
