Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday turned into a massive celebration, but this time with a special milestone — the superstar turned 60. The celebrations began with an intimate gathering in Alibaug with close friends and family before SRK returned to Mumbai to meet his sea of devoted fans who eagerly wait every year to celebrate their beloved ‘Badshah’ of Bollywood.

A new venue for #SRKDay celebrations

With Mannat, his iconic Bandra residence, currently under renovation, the #SRKDay 2025 festivities were shifted to the Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir Auditorium in Bandra. Despite the venue change, the enthusiasm of fans remained unmatched, with hundreds gathering for the grand meet-and-greet event.

Social media was flooded with clips from the celebration, one of which showed Shah Rukh Khan cutting a magnificent three-tier cake topped with a golden crown. He was joined by his long-time manager Pooja Dadlani, who shares her birthday with the actor.

The actor looked effortlessly stylish in blue jeans, a black tee, and an off-white jacket, complemented by black sunglasses and a beanie cap — the perfect mix of charm and confidence that defines SRK’s persona.

Fans from across the world join in

The auditorium, packed with over 300 fans, turned into a mini festival as cheers and chants echoed throughout the venue. Fans had flown in from across India and countries including France, Germany, and the United States, making the event a truly global celebration of Shah Rukh Khan’s enduring stardom.

Many were seen wearing T-shirts emblazoned with “King Khan” and holding posters, while SRK’s official fan club added to the excitement with a dance performance to his iconic hit Chaiyya Chaiyya from Dil Se before his grand entry.

SRK’s heartfelt message to fans

Ahead of the event, Shah Rukh took to X (formerly Twitter) to apologise to fans gathered outside Mannat, explaining that safety concerns prevented him from stepping out.
“Have been advised by authorities that I will not be able to step out and greet all you lovely people who have been waiting for me. My deepest apologies to all of you but have been informed that it is for the overall safety of everyone due to crowd control issues,” the actor wrote.

Despite this, SRK made sure the celebrations continued indoors, ensuring his fans still felt included in his milestone moment.

A tradition of love and gratitude

For years, Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday has been more than a personal occasion — it’s a festival for millions of fans. From late-night gatherings outside Mannat to special screenings, fan art, and social media trends, every November 2 becomes a global tribute to the man who continues to rule hearts across generations.

This year’s celebration, though slightly different in setting, carried the same emotion — a bond between the star and his fans built on decades of admiration, charisma, and gratitude
