Bollywood legend Shah Rukh Khan made a majestic first appearance at the Met Gala 2025, leaving a lasting impression on the blue carpet with his commanding charisma and fashion-forward statement. The celebrated actor opted for a monochrome black ensemble curated by renowned designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, perfectly aligning with this year’s theme.

SRK’s attire included a floor-sweeping trench coat worn over a partially open shirt, exuding effortless confidence. He elevated the look with bold, ornate accessories—including layered choker necklaces, a dazzling array of diamond-studded rings, and two dazzling pendants engraved with “K” and “SRK”. Adding a regal touch, he carried a walking cane topped with a tiger figurine, symbolizing strength and style.

Ahead of the event, his longtime manager Pooja Dadlani unveiled exclusive photos on Instagram, offering fans a sneak peek. On the carpet, Shah Rukh graciously waved, smiled, and even struck his iconic open-arm pose, sending fans into a frenzy.

The theme for 2025, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” celebrates menswear and Black sartorial expression, inspired by Monica L. Miller’s acclaimed work on Black dandyism. This edition marks the first Met Gala in over 20 years focused exclusively on male fashion.

The evening was led by co-chairs Pharrell Williams, Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, and Anna Wintour, with LeBron James joining as honorary co-chair.

Shah Rukh Khan’s stylish entrance didn’t just meet expectations—it redefined the standard for Indian representation at global fashion events.
