Actor Shraddha Kapoor returned home after 16 days and marked the moment in the simplest way possible — with a cup of homemade tea. The actress shared a picture of her chai on social media, declaring that nothing compares to tea made at home.

Ghar ki chai jaisi koi cheez hi nahi hai,” Shraddha wrote, adding a red heart emoji. The post struck a chord with fans, many of whom resonated with the comfort and nostalgia associated with homemade tea.

A foodie at heart

Known for her love for food, Shraddha frequently shares snippets of her culinary indulgences online. From street food to home-cooked meals, the actor’s posts often reflect her appreciation for simple pleasures — a trait that has endeared her to fans over the years.

Her return home after more than two weeks appeared to be especially emotional, not just because of the food, but also because of a heartfelt reunion.

Emotional reunion with her pet

Shortly after reaching home, Shraddha posted a video of herself showering her pet with kisses, clearly overjoyed to be reunited. “16 days baad 1600 pappis to banti hain (After 16 days, 1600 kisses are allowed),” she wrote, capturing the affection in a playful caption.

The actor had introduced her newest pet to her followers last year following the success of Stree 2. Calling the furry addition a new family member, she shared how the pet had become a source of joy in her life. Shraddha is also a pet parent to another fur baby named Shyloh

Busy slate ahead

On the professional front, Shraddha is set to return to cinemas with Stree 3, the third instalment of the popular horror-comedy franchise, which is scheduled for release in August 2027.

She has also been signed on to portray legendary Marathi folk performer Vithabai Narayangaonkar in an upcoming biopic titled Eetha, which will chronicle the life and legacy of one of Maharashtra’s most iconic Tamasha dancers.

In addition, Shraddha will be seen in the fantasy film Nagin, produced by Nikhil Dwivedi.

For now, though, the actor seems content soaking in the warmth of home, family, pets — and, of course, a comforting cup of chai.
