Popular Tulu and Kannada filmmaker Sooraj Shetty is all set to entertain audiences once again with his latest project titled Non Veg, which will hit theatres on August 1.

The film is produced by Prakash Pandeshwar, a well-known figure in regional cinema, and features Atharva Prakash in the lead role. Staying true to his creative style, Shetty has not only directed the movie but also crafted its screenplay.

Non Veg is expected to be a lively blend of comedy, relatable characters, and rich coastal cultural references—elements that have defined Shetty’s previous successes. His earlier films have often struck a chord with viewers by combining witty dialogue and authentic depictions of Tulu and Kannada traditions.

Speaking about the project, the cast and crew shared their excitement and confidence in the film’s appeal. According to the team, Non Veg aims to offer lighthearted entertainment while capturing the spirit and humour of everyday life in the coastal belt.

Lead actor Atharva Prakash expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work with Sooraj Shetty and said he was looking forward to the audience’s response. The makers are planning a promotional campaign in Mangaluru, Udupi, and other towns to build anticipation ahead of the release.

With its engaging storyline and cultural flavour, Non Veg is positioned to attract both loyal fans of Tulu-Kannada cinema and new viewers eager to experience regional storytelling on the big screen.
