Hyderabad: The journey to stardom is rarely without challenges, and rising actress Sreeleela seems to be navigating one such tricky phase in her career. Known for her impressive performances in Telugu hits like Dhamaka and Bhagavanth Kesari, Sreeleela is now setting her sights on Bollywood, but her Tollywood journey has recently hit a few roadblocks.

Exit from Akhil Akkineni’s Political Drama

In a recent development, Sreeleela has exited yet another major Telugu film — Lenin, a political drama starring Akhil Akkineni and directed by Kishore Abburu. The film was set to present Akhil in a gritty, rugged role. Though Sreeleela had already shot a few scenes, she reportedly stepped away due to scheduling conflicts.

This marks her third exit from a major project in quick succession, following her removal from Anaganaga Oka Raju with Naveen Polishetty and an untitled Naga Chaitanya film. According to sources like Great Andhra, Bhagyashri Borse may replace her in Lenin, although official confirmation is awaited.

From Child Artist to Rising Star

Sreeleela began her acting career as a child artist and made her lead debut with Kiss in 2019. Her big break came with Pelli SandaD, followed by the blockbuster Dhamaka and a special appearance in Pushpa 2.

Looking Ahead: Bollywood and Beyond

Despite recent Tollywood setbacks, Sreeleela’s career is far from slowing down. She is gearing up for her Bollywood debut with Aashiqui 3, along with Telugu projects like Mass Jathara and Ustaad Bhagat Singh.

Her journey reflects the unpredictable nature of the film world — a mix of sudden exits, high-stake launches, and the relentless drive to rise.
