Tejasswi Prakash Tops Celebrity MasterChef Fees for Season 2024
Sony Entertainment Television debuted the new season of MasterChef India on January 27, 2025. The opening episode was filled with entertainment as celebrities like Tejasswi Prakash and Dipika Kakar showcased their cooking talents, earning praise from the judges—Farah Khan, Vikas Khanna, and Ranveer Brar.
The show has been scheduled for weekdays at 9 PM, replacing Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 in February 2025. However, if KBC 16 is extended, MasterChef will shift to an 8 PM slot. Currently, it competes with popular serials like Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, ShivShakti, and Bhagyalakshmi.
A major point of intrigue is the earnings of Celebrity MasterChef contestants. Sources reveal that Tejasswi Prakash is the highest-paid celebrity of the season. Known for her roles in Bigg Boss 15 and Naagin 6, Tejasswi commands a hefty sum, reportedly charging Rs 6-8 lakh per week. This makes her the top earner among the current crop of contestants.
Tejasswi shared her motivation for joining the show, stating, “Reality TV has taught me to be bold and real, but cooking on national television is a whole new level of exposure. I believe food is a form of love, and I hope my culinary efforts resonate with the audience.”
The season also features contestants like Dipika Kakar, Nikki Tamboli, Abhijeet Sawant, Gaurav Khanna, and Rajiv Adatia, among others.
