Hollywood action icon Tom Cruise has returned to Indian cinemas with the early launch of his movie Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning. This time, the superstar won the hearts of Indian fans not just with his thrilling stunts but by speaking fluent Hindi and openly admiring India’s rich culture and film industry.
While promoting the last chapter of the Mission: Impossible series, Cruise shared his deep affection for India. In a video posted by Avneet Kaur, he said, “I feel immense love for India. It’s an incredible country with wonderful people and a vibrant culture. Every experience, from visiting the Taj Mahal to exploring Mumbai, is etched deeply in my heart.”
The 61-year-old actor also expressed a strong desire to venture into Bollywood. Known for his daring action roles and love for travel, Cruise revealed, “I would love to return to India and shoot a movie there. Bollywood’s blend of dancing, singing, and acting is so unique and beautiful. The skill required to perform all three together is truly remarkable.”
Despite being famed for high-octane action, Cruise admitted his long-standing admiration for musicals. “I enjoy when a scene suddenly turns into a song. I grew up watching musicals globally, and Bollywood does this with great artistry,” he explained.
Cruise also mentioned his warm connections in India and eagerness to visit again. “I’ve met many wonderful people here. Making a Bollywood-style film would be an amazing and fun experience.”
Meanwhile, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is now playing in India in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, including premium formats like 4DX and IMAX, hitting theaters six days before its U.S. release over Memorial Day weekend.
